Re: Good Diving @ Wazee
There are EXCELLENT maps in the "Divers Guide To Lake Wazee".  I have a copy of the book - it has a full color map in the back w/ depth contours, and then very nice maps that the author created of each popular site in the lake, with accurate distances/azimuths/depths/etc to all the features.

Scuba Dive & Travel in Minneapolis sells them and will ship 'em, or you can get them (I think...) at the park.

I think Deep Blue has the larger laminated copies in stock as well as the book.

I got mine at the entrance to the park.  I think I paid $15 for it.

Re: Good Diving @ Wazee
Is Wazee a lake or an abandoned open pit mine or quary.  I use to work in the Iron mines in 'da UP and this could have been a topo of the Empire's pit in the 70's.

Just curious - no answer really needed.

PS Chris, only a 10w Light Canon that's mounted to one of my strobe arms on a 3-way.  I suppose you have a 20?
(I'm drooling!!!)

It was the Jackson County Iron Mine.  I think they stopped mining it in 1981.

I have the Halcyon Helios 9/18.  It works pretty well Wink
