Good Diving @ Wazee

Got a good couple of dives in at Wazee today.  The viz is pretty terrible between 30-80 feet or so, but opens up nicely as you get deeper.  Because of the cloudy water, it gets pretty dark at depth.

I see the gazing ball hasn't been replaced yet.  I figured that it would have been replaced already.

Good time to get out and dive - there was hardly anyone on the lake today!

Actually, the viz was really nice below 100' at the wall.  Couldn't complain at all.

So what's crappy viz?
Here (PS) really crappy is 1-3'
normal (summer) is 5-12
normal (winter) is 20-40
outstanding (winter) is 40-70

I only ask because I plan to visit soon and it sounds like I should pack my HID.

Depends on the depth you are diving at.

0-30' of depth - 15'
30-80' - 2'-5'
80+ as far as your HID will reach.
