Lake Michigan will be rougher tomorrow Fred.  Hopefully long Lake will have something to offer.  I may even dive my single hose!  That is if I'm up to taking a chance on that new fangled gear!  It's hard to get away from the double hosers once you started diving with the real McCoy.

The Milwaukee nearshore forecast is calling for 6-10ft waves....ick.      I am considering getting a double hose unit.  Only there aren't any bubbles from the one I tried.

Yeah, 8 to 10 k for one of those units and no bubbles, just don't seem right. :o (Just kidding)  I'd love to dive one of those units myself.  Someday.

After being in dry dock Long Lake was great.  35ish water temps, 3 or 4 foot viz, what the heck, it was fun.  I didn't even mind the leak in my dry suit.... too much.  Yarr!

.......Devils Lake is open.....the strong south winds broke up what was remaining....with the rain & snow melt - the water level is pretty high...the parking lot by the north shore (west of the tracks) is under water....I'm sure they'll keep the level high until the northerns have finished spawning....

Checked out Wazee what there is of ice that is left is about a football field in size and looks like will not last long with the warm weather and the winds we are having.  Ice is now in the wall area.
