Re: Long Lake last Sunday
the only public access I know of would be the state park on the east side of the lake (jim might know of some other public spots to get in??).  you might be able to drive down with your vehicle and drop your gear off and then drive back up to the parking area without the ranger hassling you, rather than hump your gear down and back up that hill.

Re: Long Lake last Sunday
Dave, the Ranger didn't hassle us because we're old fart's and he was in the spirit of the holidays. Ha. He was also a diver if I recall, which helped our cause I'm sure. That is the best way if you can get away with it.  There is a public(I think) boat landing north of the park on the east side and If I remember correctly there is a restaurant/bar south of FW's on the west side of the lake where you may be able to take advantage of the parking lot.  As always, ask first if the place is open.

Re: Long Lake last Sunday
Does anyone have an update on this lake?  Thinking of heading up there on Sunday and was wondering if it will be worth my while.

I'll post a picture of it tonight when I give it a good cleaning to get all the weed out of there.  I looked around for a manufacturer's tag but didn't see anything.  It's a fun little thing, have to get the right weight for the ballast container in the nose.

As everyone knows, this is much faster, and far more efficient on the batteries than the competing Blue One.  ;D

here's a shot of the scooter.  No manufacturing tags that I can see, other than the batter which is made by Rewop Power Co from China.
