More than happy to give a tour of Wazee.  I dive out there a ton, as a lot of us do Smile
Well, I will be bumping into some of you there after all - I bought the house and should be all moved back next summer!

My Shawano Buddy is out here in Seattle this week and we have dives scheduled for Saturday and Sunday (Puget sound shore dives and a Hood Canal charter boat - 2 tank dive).  Then either the 3rd or 4th or 10th or 11th of Sept. I'll be at his place for a dive at Wazee.  (Depends on when the wives do the shopping thing.)

I'll be the guy in the Apollo DS with the plate/wing rig. - Say Hi!
What depth is the flag at ? Is it to the right or left of the gargoyle.

                   Thank You!
Just to let everybody know, the Jackson County Dive Unit has gone out and tended all the buoys in the lake.  They have been pulled down and tied off on the platforms so they will not freeze into the ice.  Thanks to John Janzen and his crew and the dive shop from Racine for taking care of the respective bouy's they were working around on Saturday. Smile

What's the viz like at Wazee right now?
I'll answer my own question.  The viz was poor. It was maybe 15 to 20 feet above 50 feet and maybe 8 feet below 50 feet.  Water temp was 46 at the surface down to about 50-60 feet and then it dropped to 41 degrees.
Is Wazee froze over now?

                        Thank You
I just asked a Brockway Township officer to go out and check Lake Wazee for me.  As of late evening, December 8, Wazee is still totally ice free.  I wouldn't expect it to last long though with all the cold weather we've been having here.

I saw where there is no ice on Wazee yet  (cool) ! Does the park clear the snow(if any) or should we bring a 4 wheel drive?  Any idea of viz?

            Thank You and Merry Christmas!
