Lake Wazee ice

Was out to Lake Wazee, two days ago. Ice was forming well. The center was and some areas close to shore where still open. Tons of people chucked rocks to test the thickness, it appeared to be fun so we joined in, a five poundish rock didn't plunge lol. Some ice near the Sherwood forest entrance shore was strong enuf to hold us but I wouldn't walk very far on it. Its been getting below freezing the last few nites so hopefully that will help.

Missed that thread, A pal just back sent me a email and as of the 2-7-06 a bit of ice near the beach end = South side, so for now no ice and looks like we can do a few dives!any how/any way!

Lake Wazee was iced over on 2-11-2006.  Some good ice by the wall, should be able to ice dive from there.  Not sure about vehicles, but walking OK.

Nice coat of snow mde it look pretty too.

Looks like ice for the March 4 event!
