Nitrox can also be used with air tables (with special regard to MOD) to add an extra safety margin. The DOWN side to Nitrox that I don't think anyone has mentioned yet is that it is 2-2 1/2 times the cost of air. Maybe not a big deal for a tank or 2, but when you fill 6 tanks at a time it does get expensive. There is also the annual cost of 02 cleaning each tank and valve. :
