Conditions at Redgranite quarry

Anyone been to Redgranite to dive the big quarry recently??  If so how were the conditions??  Had some friends dive it the first week of April but the vis was only about 3 feet.

We were there a few weeks ago. Visibility was bad down to 40 feet. Once we got over the ledge and headed down past 40 feet it cleared up nicely, but was very dark.
