I know a few of you were out on Jerry's boat this past weekend, what were your water temps looking like? I have a buddy (new diver) who wants to check out the Appomattox this weekend, but wants to know what to expect for temp.

I don't know how familiar with the Appomattox, but wind is a BIG consideration when diving this site. An east wind is a definite cancel with 0 visibility.

Good to know. I've been out to the Appomattox, probably half a dozen times, and only been washed out on a couple. I'll take note of the wind. When there's bad vis, it's zero-vis. And as far as the swim goes. We gots our scooters. ;D

Don't get me wrong, I'd love a scooter, but have fun carrying them up and down the 100ish steps to the beach. Maybe an X-Scooter next time? > Big Grin
