Richie Kohler is offering an In-Depth Workshop at Our World Underwater in Chicago. The seminar is a mini-course covering the history, details and design, and explaining the function and components of closed circuit rebreathers in plain language.  Manufacturer’s reps and local instructors will be on hand to explain current popular rebreathers on the market. Wanna get wet?  If you are interested in learning about rebreathers, here is a tremendous opportunity to learn what they are and try out five different models.  You will get your basic introduction from Richie Kohler, then work one-on-one with an instructor to test fly an Evolution, Inspiration, Frog, Meg., and the Kiss Classic.  If you are considering a rebreather, don’t miss the chance to do some comparison shopping before making a major financial commitment.  The number of participants is limited for this one, so check out this link and sign up:

Back by popular demand- Discover Rebreathers at Ghost Ships Festival!  Join rebreather instructor, Gregg Stanton to compare, contrast and dive nine different rebreather models.  Start out in the classroom with a “Basics of Rebreathers” presentation and a hands-on comparison of advantages and disadvantages of all of the different units, ending with a trial dive in the Wyndham Hotel’s pool on as many different units as you can fit into the 2 hour pool session.  You will not see this many different rebreathers in one place at one time!  It is a truly impressive array and a one time opportunity to compare, contrast and dive.  For more information or to sign up, check out:
