no unfortuannly we dont have any pictures of the boar he just reported it to the DNR and then butchered it right away i hear rumours there are a lot around black river falls??? i dont know if its true or not but itd be a great day hunting the the shooting a boar in the morning diving then grilling it up
i saw plenty of deer up north until the guns came out :'( oh well it was a nice hunting season |

Had a good season around Algoma, I got my doe in the early season, but nothing in the regular season that was closer than 350 yards and running like hell for me. This is the first year I didn't go up north to long lake. I was hunting on my inlaws property opening morning, then about two miles away on a friends land the rest of the week. Opening day they harvested 9 adult does and a 2 1/2 year old 8 point buck. The morning of the the 29th I took a poke at very large buck about 375 yards but couldn't reach it. He is still running. We haven't heard if it was taken in the muzzleloader season yet. NEXT YEAR he's mine if a car doesn't get him first.
