FISH LAKE, WAUSHARA COUNTY

HELLO,
I am new to scuba diving, just got certified this year. I was wondering if anyone has done any diving on Fish Lake near Hancock, WI in Waushara county. We have a cottage on this lake and I have done a lot of snorkeling there, and am wondering how the diving is. I will find out this spring for myself, but if anyone has any tips or points of interest, I would really appreciate it!

I have not been in this lake but I have a freind that has. Will ask him to give a report.

Talked to my friend about Fish Lake. He said he dove it this summer but it was green. His impression was this would be a good dive early (April, May June) before the algea, or late (October, November) when the algea is gone.

This is common for the lakes in this area. They really turn green in summer. He also indicated that there was a lot of fish life.
