I posted more photos from yesterday and today:
Because of a bad cable between the camera housing and monitor we had to do some fancy zip tie engineering to keep the monitor on. They did some pretty cool under-ice testing the last couple days. When I took off a few hours ago they were packing up to head home... Ethan |

The project PI, Dr. Peter Doran from UIC, earned his PhD from UW-Madison. So being familiar with our resources here, he was able to talk our Limnology Department into hosting the project. They put up space in the Water Lab to work on the AUV late into the evenings and donated meeting room space for the control center, etc. |
