Securing backup light to harness
I got this idea from DRE this past weekend for securing a backup "scout" style light onto a harness. Take a soldering iron and burn two holes into the harness. It melts the harness so they’re nice clean holes with no fraying. The holes are small enough to where it isn’t going to weaken the harness strength at all. Take a length of bungee cord and insert the ends in the holes from the front and tie knots in back. The cool thing about this method over the normal inner tube strips is that the bungee cord stays in place and holds its shape. This makes it easier to stow the light again after removing it. To stow the light you feed the back end, bolt snap first through the loop and pull it up to the D-Ring and clip it off.
