Wazee
Can someone tell me where the wall is in Wazee, and how to access it? Also the last time I was there , at the boat site , what is on the other side ? By that I mean the opposite direction from the boat. I will be going up there Sunday morning with some friends and want something new. Thanks

Re: Wazee
When you drive into the park, turn to the right taking you in the opposite direction of the campground entrance and around the lake.  The road will turn back to the left.  After several hundred feet, on your right hand side is an asphalt boat ramp down to the water.  That is the wall dive site.

Re: Wazee
That whole end of the lake is pretty much considered the wall.

If you enter the water from the paved boat landing, the 30 foot dropoff will be about 5 feet to your left.  There are a series of cliffs that will quickly take you quite deep.  It's a fun area to dive.

Re: Wazee
Was there last Saturday.  We did the wall down to 165 feet.  Vis was good from surface to about 40 feet then to 70 feet it's a bit thick, then after 70 feet it opens up again to around 20 to 25 feet.  Temp at depth was 39 degrees.  Surface temp that day was 64.  If you dive the wall from that location, you can surface swin to the 100 foot marker, descend down the line and there is a barrel at the 100 foot ledge.  Also there are some trolls and other statues down on that ledge.

Re: Wazee
And they had recently stocked fish - tons of rainbow and brown trout that were rather large right at the docks at site 7 and sherwood forest. Very cool.
