Lake Emily
We did some different diving in Lake Emily a couple of weekends ago. We were there to see if divers can successful pull Milfoil out in sparsely infected areas and can that milfoil be recovered. This is to supplement the poisoning of the major infestations of milfoil. The Lake Emily Lake Society and the Central Wisconsin Scuba Club worked on this project. This was an interesting event. Clearity in Lake Emily was exceptional. I have never seen the lake so clear. This made for a nice dive.
Also great picture taking conditions. Here is some of the divers picking milfoil. It did not take much to get the silt up as can be seen in the other picture. |
