On the second day we dove the Vienna and the Panther. I did not get any pictures due to operator error. Therefore, I got to enjoy the dives. The Vienna sank after a collision in 1892 with no loss of life. This is one of my favorite wrecks and I look forward to diving it more. With the camera operating.
The Panther is the best broken wreck that I know. I think that this is due to the fine example of a steam engine that is on this wreck. The Panther sank after a collision in 1916 with no loss of life. You can still find the wheat cargo on this wreck to this day. I even took pictures of it in 2003. Great diving and great weather, you can see that in this picture while traveling out to the wrecks. |
