If you check out the MNSCUBA Board they have more of the details. It was a larger charter boat with many divers on it- not a 6-pack. They also had more than one divemaster on board and he had signed the diver "in" on one dive and "out" on the next. There was even mention that one of his "buddies" called out that he was "here" before they left the first site.

I think I know a diver who just might get himself a new charter boat after his lawyers are done.

Note to self: Always borrow gear from the captain before going on a dive- to make sure he comes back for you.
