Freediving Course

Just had the first group of students graduate from my PADI Freediver course last night.

We finished up our training in Lake Mendota- with most of them reaching 55' with ease!

IF the conditons had been better, low vis and white caps, I am sure that they could have made it to 65'- the max depth limit for the course.

I have another group finishing up next week and can hardly wait to see how well they do. ;D

Besides going to depth, they all incresed their breath hold times. They also learned how to, safely, reduce their air consumption on future scuba dives- no we don't teach skip breathing. They even got to try out a variety of fins, and monofins, made out of everything from plastic to Carbon Fiber.
