Clearing skirt on mask - MadTownDiver - 05-11-2009

I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions as to how to clean the silicone skirt on my mask. It's all funky yellow after sitting in the off season (as I don't dry suit dive). It was probably a poor clean after last summer's diving. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

the yellowing is probily from what ever it was near and can not be removed ,but this will not damage the way it works just the looks the only to fix this is get a new skirt

If you buy a black skirt, it won't yellow anymore.

You know what they say “Once You Go Black You Will Never Go Back”.  I am sure that has to be a reference to a mask skirt right? ;D

I certainly think it applies...

mmmmm... yellow skirt!

So, it looks like the yellow skirted mask will be moving to a reserve role in the lineup. Mask works fine, but I could use a new one. Any excuse to buy new dive gear.

My first mask yellowed in spots from being in contact with my jetfins.  But they all get milky and discolored after awhile.

I thought that was "hot and black".  Oh sorry, that must have been something else.....

That's exactly where mine was. In my mesh bag with my Scubapro Twin Jets.
