To help get through the long "cold season" when diving in the Great Lakes is rather chilling, I was thinking it'd be fun if everyone posts some of their favorite local wreck diving images from this year.  To start it off, here's some photos of the Rouse Simmons ("Christmas Tree Wreck") from October 2005, courtesy of Tamara Thomsen.

Good idea, but it's just the start of the "cold season". What are we gonna do when February rolls around ;D. Nice shots. The couple times I was on the "Rouse Simmons" this past summer the visibility wasn't that nice.
Here's a couple of mine.  I wish the lake would calm down, I'd like to take a few more.

What we have to look forward to.

What kind of camera and housing is Tamara using these days? The shots of the Christmas Tree Ship are fantastic...

Matt - I was hoping that in February we'll be out there diving again...  I was thinking I'd been out in Lake Michigan in February, but it turns out my earliest dives there have been in early April.  So much for my encouraging delusions!

Rick - Tami's currently using a Nikon D100 in a Light and Motion Titan D100 housing.

I was really looking forward to this, too:

I think we can open this up to miserable winter lake photos, too...
Or we could just open it to any winter-related photos.  We do have 4 months of it ahead of us...
