Scubert and I headed out to Nagawicka today for a dive. Unfortunately the weather wasn't as nice as the past 2 days, but once underwater we didn't notice anyway. We ended up doing about a 35 minute dive with a max depth of 45 ft. Water temp on the bottom was 45 with a thermocline at about 20 ft. Visibility was about 12-15 ft, which is about normal for this lake. On our ascent up the slope we shot a lift bag for practice, and did our safety stop looking into crayfish holes that were dug into the slope. Nice dive, but not Lake Michigan. You can only look at so many zebra mussel covered beer cans :Smile.
Had a nice dive today with Scubert and Gunnar. As usual we went out off of the beach area, with bottom temps (@ 40+ ft) a nice 52 degrees. Did roughly a 40 minute dive with 15 ft of visibility, definitely down from 2 weeks ago. We even found a white resin chair which was a nice break from the usual zebra mussel covered cans and a shoe or 2 that we usually see Wink.
