We did six excellent dives in the Straits last weekend.

Shipwreck Adventures, , is a class act any way you look at it. The Little Alexandria comfortably holds 6 divers and has some of the best benches I've used. To make it even better, Greg fills on site and will do air, Nitrox, or Tri-Mix, so you don't have to mess around with fills at a shop that may or may not be open.

We dove the Cedarville (bow) twice on Friday morning, then the Wm. H. Barnum in the afternoon. The Barnum is in ~70 ft and the waves/weather were picking up in the afternoon so we decided this would be good.

Saturday morning we opted for one long dive on the Eber Ward, instead of two short ones, and then went back to the Barnum in the afternoon. Visibility was good, and the water temp was 51 degrees at the bottom! It was around 55 degrees on the 20ft stop, but there wasn't really a noticeable thermocline.

Sunday we did one long dive on the William Young, and packed up and called it a weekend.

Great weather, great diving, and warm water!

Awesome - you've got me looking foward to my trip now Smile
I'll second that Chris. A great place to dive made even better by a quality charter service. They were great to dive with. Chris summed it up pretty well so I will provide some pix. Here is Greg filling tanks.
Here is Gert and Paul on our return trip from the Barnum

This was the rear view of our "lodging" and gear hauler for the weekend. We were definitely roughing it.
Check out the license plate....
What I woke to every morning...... along with a couple of good morning kisses.
Way back in July we had a great time in the Straits of Mackinac, doing some dives on the Eber Ward, Maitland, Minneapolis and Sandusky. This was a good time with the gang from Wisconsin.

I did not get pictures of the Eber Ward and Maitland due to equipment problems (operator error). but I did get some of the Minneapolis and Sandusky.

I have finally gotten back to these pictures and thought I would share a few of them with you.

Here is a good look at the big bridge at sunset.

Here is the St. Ignace AA group. You will never meet a larger group of substance abuse, weirdo and...

Oh wait, my bad, Here is the dive group hanging out before the big dives.
