The dive community is leading the fight against marine debris. And as a diver, you know this issue isn’t just ugly, it’s a serious threat to marine life and human health. But teams of volunteer divers are tackling the problem beneath the surface and collecting data for change.

This 25 September, we need your help for International Cleanup Day. On this day, thousands of dive volunteers unite in over 100 countries for one shared cause: marine debris prevention.

We will be cleaning both the beach area as well as underwater near the beach at Lake Nagawicka. We will be meeting at The Underwater Connection Delafield store at 9am, then heading over to the park to start the cleanup. If there is time, enough divers, and there aren't any boats being launched we will be cleaning the boat launch area as well.

There is no cost for this effort, other than parking and any rental gear. We will be providing snacks and drinks for everyone and free airfills for anyone who volunteers for the dive.
