Just wondering if there is any good dive shops by the airport in Milwaukee or south toward Chicago?
Check the diveshops link at the top of the page. There are a couple in Kenosha, apparently.

Actually I think Deep Blue South Shore would also be about the same distance. That store is located on 76th and Rawson. You can call them at 414-427-9000. I do not believe they have been added to the local dive store directory yet on this site.
